The Arctic is a constant change. The landscape changes from minute to minute while Antarctica looks the same.
The High Arctic is as scary as interesting, its really Heaven and Hell in the same location. In 1999 Johan was asked to join a dogsled race in the Arctic starting in Norway and 400 km over to Sweden. Teams from all over the world flew in to participate in this extra ordinary experience. Dog sledding was new to Johan at the time and he fought his way across the snowy landscapes with his Italian partner.

To travel with dogs is something people in the Arctic has done since thousands of years and its not as easy as it sounds. The dogs has to work with you as a team to be able reach the maximum speed across the icy Arctic. After 400 kilometers the teams reached their goal. A fantastic little adventure….
