Mount Kosciuszko

The highest mountain in the Australian mainland is Mount Kosciuszko, 2,228 metres (7,310 ft).
The mountain is far more complicated to spell than to climb. It is more of a hike than a climb. This is the highest mountain in Australian but not the highest on the continent that includes Australia and New Guinea. That mountain is Puncak Jaya is also known as Carstensz Pyramid, 4,884 m (16,024 ft).
